摘要： PURPOSE:To enable it to construct an almost oval sectional tunnel in a hard ground smoothly by installing a swing cutter unit, having a swing cutter and a rocking driver rocking this cutter, in a cutter head of a multiple shield tunneling machine. CONSTITUTION:A shield jack 19 is extended and the rear end is made contact with a segment 20, then a shield tunneling machine body 6 is advanced forward, while earth and sand ahead is digged into a section almost oval form by rotation of each of cutter heads 9, 10, 11. Next, the digged earth and sand is discharged in the inner part of chamber A from cutter slits 15, 17 by those of preceding large diametral cutter head 9 and succeeding middle diametral cutter heads 10, 11. Then, a swing cutter 23 is set to the outside of the large diametral cutter head 9 and each copy cutter 28 outward and inward the middle diametral cutter heads 10, 11, respectively through which an uncut zone is digged. With this constitution, tunneling can be done in a smooth manner.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable it to bore the hard ground by installing a slide cutter unit, provided with a small diametral cutter head and its rotation driver and a traversing driver, in front of a machine body at top and bottom of each cutter head adjacent part of a multiple shield tunneling machine. CONSTITUTION:A shield jack 19 is extended and the rear end is made contact with a segment 20, then a shield machine body 6 is advanced forward, while each rotation of rotary drivers 12, 13, 14 is transmitted to those of preceding large diametral cutter head 9 and middle diametral cutter heads 10, 11, thereby digging earth and sand ahead. Then, the earth and sand in front of the part of a skin plate 21 at top and bottom of adjacent parts of these cutter heads 9, 10, 11 is digged by small diametral cutter heads 25 at four spots. The volume of the natural ground estimated from the division of the volume of sediment by a variation rate of sediment volume which is calculated or set separately, is compared and contrasted with a planned value which is calculated from a jack stroke value detected by a sensor for 8 for detecting a stroke of a jack, for every jack stroke.

CONSTITUTION: In the erector of a shield excavator, a distance from the grip device to the inner peripheral surface of a skin plate is measured by one distance meter 26 provided to the grip device 22, a distance l2 to the segment inner peripheral surface is measured by the other distance meter, and a stroke of the hydraulic jack of an elevator is detected. Then, a distance l3 from the center 28 of the erector to each distance meter is calculated to calculate a distance L1 =l1 +l2 from the center of the erector to the skin plate, and a distance 13 from the center of the erector to the distance meter is calculated to calculate a distance L1 =l1 +l3 from the center of the erector to the skin plate. A swivel ring is turned and the grip device and distance meter are moved to the circumferential direction to measure the whole shape of the skin plate or fabrication shape of the segment, and a tail clearance tc=L1 -L2 -ts is calculated by the segment thickness(ts) and measured results L1 and L2 .

Then, a second hydraulic jack 28 is extended so that tapered tenon 29 on the jack 28 is fitted in a tapered mortise 30 so as to fix the segment block 9.

Further, the chucks 34 are slid toward the outer periphery under wedge action, and accordingly, the female threads and the male thread are meshed with each other so as to hold a segment block 30.

Next, when it is used for an automatic erector, the hydraulic jack 30 is constricted and the sliding cylinder 32 is contained into an intermediate cylinder 31 to automatically assemble a segment 9. When it is used for a manual erector, the hydraulic jack 30 is extended to assemble the segment 9.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to reduce assembling work time and ensure a specified quality by installing a guide plate to an erector frame for a shield type tunnel drilling machine in such a fashion that it may move forward and backward. CONSTITUTION:A holding jack 6 is extended; a holding jack 7 is provided below an erector frame 8 and positioned at a pin hole of the holding jack 7 and a lifting lug of a segment piece so as to insert a pin 10. Then, the holding jack 6 is contracted and the segment piece 3 is lifted up until it comes into contact with the bottom of the erector frame 8. In the case when rotary deviation is produced on the way to this lifting work, two guide plates 12 and a bolt box steel plate 3a may interface with the lifting work. Since the guide plates 12 are circular-shaped, however, the segment piece 3 will correct the rotary deviation along the shape of the guide plates 12. Idealistic posture will be attained until the holding work is completed. This construction makes it possible to maintain this posture until the segment piece 3 is assembled.

CONSTITUTION:While an erector 21 is statically set, a position detecting distance sensor 1 is moved in the direction of a ready-set segment 12 (or an adjacent segment 12'), and the level of the ready-set segment 12 is measured. After that, the position detecting distance sensor 1 is moved in the direction of a holding segment 11 opposite to the direction of the segment 12. The measurement value of the position detecting distance sensor 1 is suddenly changed when the sensor 1 passes the direct upper section of the edge of the ready-set segment 12, and so by detecting the position of the position detecting distance sensor 1, the position of the ready-set segment 12 is measured.
