    • The invention relates to a solar module, comprising a solar cell arrangement configured in a planar manner, at the back of which a rear design and at the front of which a radiation-transparent front disk are provided, having a potting compound that surrounds the solar cell arrangement between the rear design and front disk and can solidify and transmits mechanical loads, wherein said potting compound connects the entire surface of the front disk facing the rear design to the rear design and completely encloses the solar cell arrangement. The invention is characterized in that the rear design is configured as a separate module in the form of a plastic support produced by injection molding, compression molding or pressing, or in the form of a flexurally rigid ceramic or organic surface element. The plastic carrier, or the surface element, provide for a metal electrical connecting structure for an electrical connection to the solar cell arrangement, said structure being integrated into the plastic carrier or into the surface element, such that at least one partial region of the connecting structure is completely surrounded by the plastic carrier material or by the ceramic or organic material, and at least one other partial region of the connecting structure has a free contact region facing the solar cell arrangement.
