    • Silyl substituted anthracene compound (I) is new. Silyl substituted anthracene compound of formula (I) is new. Ar : 1-naphthyl or 9-anthryl group, in which one or two carbon atoms can be replaced by N and substituted with one or more of R 1> and/or N(Ar 1>) 2, where both remainders Ar 1> are connected by a single bond, O, S, N(R 1>) or C(R 1>) 2; R : (hetero)aromatic ring with 5-40C atoms, substituted with one or more of R 1> or N(Ar 1>) 2, where both remainders Ar 1> are connected by a single bond, O, S, N(R 1>) or C(R 1>) 2; Ar 1>(hetero)aromatic ring with 5-40C atoms, substituted with one or more of R 1>; Y 1>a bivalent group with 1-40C atoms, -O-, -S-, -NR 1>-, -P(=O)R 1>- or a single bond; R 1>alkyl-, alkoxy- or thioalkoxy with 1-40C atoms or branched or cyclic alkyl-, alkoxy- or thioalkoxy with 3-40C atoms (both substituted with one or more of R 3>, where one or more non-adjacent CH 2 groups are replaced by -R 3>C=CR 3>-, -C=C-, Si(R 3>) 2, Ge(R 3>) 2, Sn(R 3>) 2, C=O, C=S, C=Se, C=NR 3, -O-, -S-, -N(R 3>)- or -CONR 3>-, where one or more hydrogen atoms are replaced by F, Cl, Br, I, CN or NO 2), (hetero)aryl with 5-24C aromatic ring atoms (substituted with one or more of R 3>), (hetero)aryloxy with 5-24C aromatic ring atoms (substituted with one or more of R 3>), a combination out of two, three, four or five of these systems, Si(R 2>) 3 (preferred), F, Cl, Br, I, CN, N(R 3>) 2 or NO 2; either R 2>1-40C-alkyl, 3-40C-cyclic alkyl (where one or more adjacent CH 2 group can be bonded directly to the silicon, which can be replaced by -R 3>C=CR 3>-, -C?=C-, Si(R 3>) 2, Ge(R 3>) 2, Sn(R 3>) 2, C=O, C=S, C=Se, C=NR 3>, -O-, -S-, -N(R 3>)- or -CONR 3> and where one or more H atom can be replaced by F, Cl, Br, I, CN or NO 2), (hetero)aryl with 5-24 aromatic ring or (hetero)aryloxy (both are substituted by one or more R 3>); or two or more R 2>a mono or polycyclic ring system; R 3>H or 1-20C-hydrocarbon, which aliphatic or aromatic can be replaced by F; or R 3> (two or more) : mono-, polycyclic-, aliphatic- or aromatic ring system; n : 0-4; and m : 0-5. At least one variable of R 1> represents Si(R 2>) 3. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of (I); (2) an organic electronic device comprising (I); and (3) an organic electroluminescence device comprising at least an emitting layer, at least an hole transport layer, hole injection layer, a hole blocking layer and/or electron transport layer, and (I).
