摘要： The invention concerns a system suited for carrying out eddy current measurements on components (10) for nuclear reactors when these components (10) are located in water (12). The system comprises a control unit (14), a measurement probe (16) and a first cable (21 ) suited to constitute at least a part of the connection between the control unit (14) and the measurement probe (16). The system also comprises a switching unit (25), suited to be located in water (12) and arranged to be connected with said first cable (21 ), and to be connected with the measurement probe (16). The switching unit (25) has a switching device (27) which can assume at least a first and a second state. In the first state, the first cable (21 ) is connected with the measurement probe (16). In the second state, the first cable (21 ) is not connected with the measurement probe (16). The invention also concerns the use of the system.
