摘要： A physiological state of a patient is detected by at least producing and detecting pressure waves with a free wall of an implantable medical device (IMD) housing. An actuator element may contact the free wall, e.g., a portion of the IMD housing, and cause movement of the free wall that produces a pressure wave within the fluid and tissue of the patient. A detector element contacting the free wall may in turn detect reflected pressure waves received by the free wall. An acoustic module within the IMD may then determine a physiological condition of the patient, e.g., a bladder fullness state, based on the time delay between the transmitted and reflected pressure waves. In some examples in which the IMD also delivers stimulation therapy to the patient, e.g., incontinence therapy, the IMD may also automatically adjust stimulation therapy based on the determined physiological condition.

An implantable medical device (IMD) includes a memory configured to store a set of therapy parameters for subsensory electrical stimulation of a patient. The delivery of the subsensory electrical stimulation results in a therapeutic effect for incontinence therapy at a stimulation intensity that is in range of approximately 50% to 80% of a stimulation intensity at a sensory threshold, and the patient does not perceive delivery of the subsensory electrical stimulation and perceives delivery of stimulation at the sensory threshold. The IMD also includes therapy delivery circuitry configured to deliver the subsensory electrical stimulation based on the stored set of therapy parameters, including cycling the delivery of the subsensory electrical stimulation between an on-cycle and an off-cycle.

摘要： A medical device system for delivering a neuromodulation therapy includes a delivery tool for deploying an implantable medical device at a neuromodulation therapy site. The implantable medical device includes a housing, an electronic circuit within the housing, and an electrical lead comprising a lead body extending between a proximal end coupled to the housing and a distal end extending away from the housing and at least one electrode carried by the lead body. The delivery tool includes a first cavity for receiving the housing and a second cavity for receiving the lead. The first cavity and the second cavity are in direct communication for receiving and deploying the housing and the lead coupled to the housing concomitantly as a single unit.

In one example, a system comprises processing circuitry configured to receive a request to deliver alternating electric field (AEF) therapy and determine therapy parameter values that define the AEF therapy, wherein the AEF therapy comprises delivery of a first electric field and a second electric field. The processing circuitry may also be configured to control an implantable medical device to deliver the first electric field from a first electrode combination of implanted electrodes and control the implantable medical device to deliver, alternating with the first electric field, the second electric field from a second electrode combination of implanted electrodes different than the first electrode combination.

摘要： Devices, systems, and techniques for analyzing video information to objectively identify patient behavior are disclosed. A system may analyze obtained video information of patient motion during a period of time to track one or more anatomical regions through a plurality of frames of the video information and calculate one or more movement parameters of the one or more anatomical regions. The system may also compare the one or more movement parameters to respective criteria for each of a plurality of predetermined patient behaviors and identify the patient behaviors that occurred during the period of time. In some examples, a device may control therapy delivery according to the identified patient behaviors and/or sensed parameters previously calibrated based on the identified patient behaviors.
