摘要： Apparatus and methods are provided to support accurate CSI report over Sidelink in mobile communication system. In one novel aspect, the TX UE sets up the restriction of CSI report via initiation of a prohibit timer. If a CSI report is triggered, but the prohibit timer is running, then the CSI report keeps pending and UE does not generate the MAC CE for transmission to Physical layer. The restriction of CSI report is to avoid out of date and/or out of order delivery of CSI report.

摘要： In an aspect of the disclosure, a method and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a relay UE. The relay UE receives a first reconfiguration message from a first remote UE. The relay UE transmits a first reconfiguration complete message to the first remote UE. The relay UE further establishes a first RLC channel between the first remote UE and the relay UE, the first RLC channel being associated with a first value of an end-to-end identifier. The relay UE receives an incoming transmission on the first RLC channel, the incoming transmission including at least a data packet and the first value of the end-to-end identifier. The relay UE transmits an outgoing transmission on the second RLC channel, the outgoing transmission including at least the data packet and the second value of the end-to-end identifier.

The relay UE establishes a first Radio Link Control (RLC) channel between a first remote UE and the relay UE, in which the first RLC channel is associated with a first end-to-end identifier. The relay UE establishes a second RLC channel between a second remote UE and the relay UE, in which the second RLC channel is associated with the first end-to-end identifier or a second end-to-end identifier. The relay UE receives an incoming SideLink (SL) transmission from the first remote UE on the first RLC channel, in which the incoming SL transmission includes the first end-to-end identifier. The relay UE sends an outgoing SL transmission to the second remote UE on the second RLC channel, in which the outgoing SL transmission includes one of the first end-to-end identifier and the second end-to-end identifier.

摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided to support the packet routing for Sidelink Relay operation in mobile communication system. In one novel aspect, the Base Station establishes the Sidelink Relay Communication Path based on the UE interest of Sidelink Relay Operation and the signaling strength measured by the Relay UE and the Remote UE. The Base Station configures the packet routing configuration to the nodes within Sidelink Relay Communication Path and update them dynamically. The packet routing is performed based on the packet routing configuration between the Base Station and the Remote UE via Relay UE. The Sidelink Relay communication path is released when the session between the Base Station and the Remote UE concluded.

摘要： For SL resource allocation, the Rx UE assisted resource allocation mechanism can be applied to improve the reliability and reduce the overall latency for SL communication, which can work independently or jointly with Tx UE based sensing and resource allocation mechanism. Rx UE can be triggered to send the feedback information upon reception of the SCI and/or data from the Tx UE. The feedback information can carry Rx UE's resource sensing information, CSI info, observed Doppler/delay/moving speed related information and MIMO related feedback information to assist the resource/MCS/MIMO/DMRS pattern selection at Tx UE. It is desirable for Rx UE to feedback such assistance information (just) before the reserved resources by Tx UE to be transmitted. So the Tx UE can take into account the feedback information to assist resource re-selection and/or resource utilization.

摘要： Apparatus and methods are provided for sidelink relay-based UE-to-network communication. In one novel aspect, the relay UE performs delayed relay forwarding upon determining the remote UE is in the DRX cycle based on the PC5 configuration. The relay UE buffers the relay traffic and/or sends a suspending indication to the base station to request the base station to suspend the relay traffic to the remote UE. In another novel aspect, the relay UE monitors paging occasions configured for itself and receives paging message from the network intended for the remote UE in one non-connected RRC state. The relay UE sends a PC5 paging message to the remote UE that is in the non-connected RRC state through the established SL based on the received paging message. In one embodiment, the network stores the SL association between the relay UE and the remote UE to the network.

The remote UE receives a setup message from the network node [RRCSetup] from the relay UE. The remote UE sends a setup completion message for the network node [RRCSetupComplete] to the relay UE. The remote UE enters a connected state of the protocol [RRC_CONNECTED]. The remote UE establishes security with the network node [SecurityModeCommand/SecurityModeComplete legacy procedure]. The remote UE receives a second configuration message comprising configuration information for one or more RLC channels [RRCReconfigurationSidelink for DRBs] from the relay UE. In response to the second configuration message, the remote UE sends a second completion message [RRCReconfigurationCompleteSidelink] to the relay UE.
