摘要： A valveless pump comprising a housing which is separated into first and second chambers, the second chamber being of annular extent and surrounding the first chamber. A magnetic assembly is provided in the second chamber for generating a magnetic field and for causing a water-ejecting magnetically responsive hollow piston to reciprocate axially along the first chamber in which the piston is freely disposed. The housing furthermore includes water inlet means for directing water into the first chamber and water outlet means for receiving water ejected from the first chamber by the piston. The water inlet means is submergible in water and separated from the second chamber for permitting maintaining the second chamber free from submerging in water during the water ejection by the piston.

When another detent is pushed in so it ''''puckers in'''' another band location, any detent which was inward is automatically moved out.

摘要： A phonograph which plays a selected one of several spiral grooves on a stationary record, including a drive shaft with a high helix angle thread which engages a tone arm carrier, so that when the drive shaft begins rotating, the carrier is urged to rotate and is also urged to move axially down towards the record. A stop on the phonograph housing prevents rotation of the carrier past the stop until the carrier has moved sufficiently towards the record for a tone arm on the carrier to engage a record groove, the carrier then lying below the stop so it can be rotated. The record has a peripheral portion containing pictures that can be viewed, a hub portion containing several spiral record grooves, and a resilient portion connecting the hub to the peripheral portion to allow up and down movement of the hub.

The playing assembly includes a bracket fixed to the handle, a head rotatably mounted on the bracket at an axis eccentric to the axis of rotation of the wheel on the handle, and several styluses mounted on the head. The stylus which is engaged with the record slowly turns the head while tracking the spiral groove, so that when the stylus reaches the end of the groove a next stylus is positioned to enter the leadin portion of the groove.
