    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas safety device in which the integrated usage time of an appliance to be maintained is clocked and which can know a maintenance timing. SOLUTION: The gas safety device is provided with a flow-rate detection part 1. The device is provided with a flow-rate-division registration part 2 in which a detection flow rate is compared with a threshold value so as to allocated to a corresponding flow-rate division. The device is provided with a flow-rate-division setting part 3 which sets the flow-rate division of the appliance to be maintained. The device is provided with a flow-rate-division judgment part 4 which outputs a signal to a next stage while the flow-rate division of the registration part 2 agrees with the flow- rate division of the setting part 3. The device is provide with an operating-time measuring part 5 which clocks and integrates the time in which the judgment part 4 outputs the signal. The device is provided with a reference-time setting part 6 which sets the usage time required for a maintenance operation. The device is provided with an operating-time judgment part 7 which outputs a warning signal when the measured time exceeds the set time. The device is provided with a reporting means 8 which reports a maintenance warning on the basis of the output of the setting part 7.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cutoff device capable of precisely performing the determination of zero-flow rate condition at the time when a gas appliance such as town gas and liquefied petroleum gas is not used and the measurement of the used flow rate and accurately monitoring the condition of gas use. SOLUTION: The flow velocity detected by measuring the signal propagation time inside a medium by a flow velocity detecting means 14 is converted into the value of flow rate by a flow rate operation means 20. This value of flow rate is compared with a set value that is preset by a zero-flow rate range setting means 21 to determine that the value of flow rate is zero with variations in measurement and the like considered by a zero-flow rate determining means 22. When the determination is except a zero-flow rate, whether or not the value of flow rate by the flow rate operation means 20 is a normal value is determined by an abnormality determining means 23. When abnormality is determined, the cutoff means 24 cuts off a medium flow path 1. When the determination is except the zero-flow rate, the value of flow rate by the flow rate operation means 20 is integrated by a flow rate integrating means 26.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure type minute gas leakage detecting device and method capable of performing determination of a no minute leakage or gas by an optimal value in accordance with a gas supplying facility. SOLUTION: Pressure inside a gas supply piping detected by a pressure detecting means 6 immediately after stopping of gas usage is stored in a pressure storing means 10c-1 as a reference pressure, and a pressure difference with the reference pressure is determined by a differential pressure means 10a-1. The pressure difference and a determination value stored in a determination value storing means 10c-4 for determining a no minute gas leakage is compared by a no leakage determining means 10a-2, and when the pressure difference is larger than the determination value, a no minute gas leakage is determined. When the no minute gas leakage is not determined for a period of a predetermined number of days and the determination value is the same as a predetermined lower limit, an alarm means 10a-3 warns of a minute gas leakage. When the no minute gas leakage is not determined for the period of the predetermined number of days and the determination value is larger than the predetermined lower limit, a determination value modifying means 10a-4 lower the determination value and it is stored in place of the previous one.
