    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a known structure to fix an electrode plate group to a battery container with a synthetic resin reinforcing member to improve vibration resistance of a lead-acid battery that it is difficult to separate the battery container from the electrode plate group when recycling a used battery and the battery is inferior in recycling property.
      SOLUTION: About separator ribs provided at a bag-like separator facing a battery container inner wall and battery container ribs provided at the battery container inner wall, a pair of separator ribs separated by a distance B (mm) are provided inside the pair of battery container ribs separated by a distance A (mm) or the pair of separator ribs separated by a distance D (mm) are provided outside the pair of battery container ribs separated by a distance C (mm) so that a difference (A-B) of the distance A (mm) and the distance B (mm) or a difference (D-C) of the distance D (mm) and the distance C (mm) becomes equal to or shorter than 3.0 mm.
