    • PURPOSE:To obtain high accuracy of positioning to a magnetic disc device main body by shaping a first outer yoke into U form having opposite projections of different lengths and joining a second outer yoke to the top face of the shorter projection and the tip of one side face of the longer projection of the first yoke. CONSTITUTION:A first outer yoke 1 is shaped into U form having a projection 1b and a projection 1a longer than the projection 1b by the length of a part 1a-1. Permanent magnets 2a and 2b are fixed face-to-face to the inner faces of the projections 1a and 1b and a center yoke 3 on which a movable coil 4 is movably fitted is fixed parallel with the projections to the inner center of the first outer yoke 1. A second outer yoke 5 is fixed to the top face of the shorter projection and the tip of one side face of the longer projection of the first outer yoke. Thereby a VCM is accurately located to a magnetic disc device main body regardless of the bad effect of the magnetic force of the permanent magnets on yoke assembly accuracy and a VCU is incorporated easily.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve signal properties of the header area and data area of a recordable/reproducible phase transition type optical disk. SOLUTION: This optical disk device is furnished with an optical system for ejecting a light beam on a track of the optical disk 1 as a converged spot, a photodetector 12 for receiving a reflected light passed through the recording surface of the optical disk 1 and detecting a signal corresponding to the intensity of the received light, and a signal producing part 13 for producing the plural signals from the output of the detector 12. In this case, a discrimination part 24 of information signal property for discriminating the superiority of the information signal property in the data area of the optical disk 1 and a light quantity control part 7 of semiconductor laser for controlling the quantity of ejected light of the simiconductor laser 5 throgh a semiconductor laser driver part 6, are provided in this device.
