    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small/light weight, low cost/high efficiency, and high-performance stabilized power supply in which a frequency is varied when equipment is under a high load, for the equipment requiring small power.
      SOLUTION: The stabilized power supply is composed of a resistor and a capacitor which determine the frequency of triangular wave for determining the operation point of pulse width modulation method control, and is provided with a frequency variable circuit that processes the instruction from a microcomputer for controlling modes of an equipment, for acting on a triangular wave generating circuit. A microcomputer 25 for controlling the equipment is provided with a circuit for changing frequency of a triangular wave generating circuit 18 according to the state of the equipment, to change switching frequency for higher switching efficiency.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum, small size and low cost stabilized power source apparatus without considering the breakdown voltage, the size of a decoupling capacitor or the reverse voltage breakdown voltage of the circuit constituted at the other load side.
      SOLUTION: The stabilized power source apparatus is constituted not to leak a leakage voltage at an OFF circuit time by controlling ON/OFF the power source of a negative voltage series regulator 8 of a leak voltage generation source. Further, a load control switch is not required. Thus, the optimum, small size and low cost stabilized power source apparatus can be provided without considering the breakdown voltage and the size of the decoupling capacitor or the reverse voltage breakdown voltage of the circuit constituted at the other load side. Thus, (1) in order to compensate the reverse voltage, it is conventionally necessary to select the high breakdown voltage tantalum capacitor as the load or to connect a ceramic capacitor in parallel connection in needed capacity value, and (2) thus, the use of large-size components, or an area enlargement by the increase in using quantity, resulting in a cost rise, so that these two difficulties in size reduction and cost reduction of the apparatus are eliminated.
