    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LC composite component which exhibits excellent bendability of a substrate after packaging and high flexure strength by using a multilayer substrate exhibiting high durability against mechanical stress such as bending or stretching and thermal stress, and realizes reduction in size and cost of electronic apparatus such as a portable terminal by ensuring the degree of freedom sufficiently in design of a circuit board being employed in a wireless communication apparatus.
      SOLUTION: The LC composite component comprises a multilayer body 3 of ceramic layers 2, a pair of end electrodes 5 formed at the opposite ends of the multilayer body 3; a spiral portion 6 formed on the surface of the multilayer body 3; a gap portion 7 formed on the surface of the multilayer body 3 and insulating the spiral portion 6 from at least one end electrode 5; and a reinforcing layer 4 incorporated in the multilayer body 3 in parallel with the ceramic layers 2 and exhibiting more excellent ductility or malleability as compared with the ceramic layers 2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LC composite component that has excellent resistance against substrate bending after mounting and large deflection strength, sufficiently ensures the degree of freedom in the design of a circuit board used for radio communication equipment, miniaturizes electronic equipment such as a portable terminal, and can reduce costs, by using a laminate having superior durability to mechanical stress such as bending and tension, and thermal stress as a substrate. SOLUTION: The LC composite component comprises the laminate 3 in which ceramic layers 2 are laminated, a pair of edge electrodes 5 formed at both the edges of the laminate 3; a spiral section 6 formed on the surface of the laminate 3, a gap 7 that is formed on the surface of the laminate 2 and insulates the spiral section 6 from at least one of the edge electrodes 5, and a reinforcing layer 4 built in the laminate 3 in parallel with the ceramic layer 2.
