摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent increase in temperature in a handle outer peripheral part to protect a hand from burns even if it touches a handle by supporting by a forward supporter and a rearward supporter formed with a heat insulating board on a base, fastening the base and the heat insulating board at a middle point of these supporters, and further spacing a fastening position of the heat insulating board and the handle from a supporting part of the heat insulating board. CONSTITUTION:A cover 16 is a resinous cover which has a heat insulating board 15 interposed between the cover 16 and a base 10 and covers an upper surface side of the base 10 from upward of the heat insulating board 15. The cover 16 is formed integrally with a grip part 18 of a handle 17 and fastened to the heat insulating board 15 between the rearward of the rearward supporter 13, a fastening part 12 and the forward supporter 14. The heat insulating board 15 is substantially in the central part of the base 10, but it is not in contact with an outer peripheral part of the base 10. Therefore, the handle 17 is never heated from the outer periphery through the cover 16. Further, the fastening part behind the heat insulating board 15 and the handle 17 is positioned behind the rearward supporter 13 not to receive heat from the rearward supporter 13. In addition, heat radiation from the base 10 is very little.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to cut off the power to a heater circuit even when a thermostat is failed by introducing the end of electric wire provided in a heater to the upper surface of the heater, while connecting one of the temperature fuse with the end of the electric wire and connecting the other lead with a thermostat. CONSTITUTION:A thermostat 16 detects the heat of a heater 11 to control a base 10 to a predetermined temperature. However, in the case of continuous feed of power to the heater 11 due to the failure, the heat of the heater 11 is conducted to the temperature fuse 14 from a fixed plate 12 through air, and it also is directly conducted from the end 13 of the electric wire to the temperature fuse 14 through a lead connected to it. Particularly. the end 13 of the electric wire is heated, heat response to the temperature fuse 14 is very excellent. In a short time continuous power feed, the temperature fuse is raised to a predetermined time to make it possible to the iron. Consequently, the heat response of the temperature fuse is improved and the base temperature at the time when the temperature fuse is blown off is lowered to make it possible to turn off safely the heater circuit.

An iron main body 9 and the plug 14 are located on the placing board 8, however, they are prevented from coming in contact with each other, which protects the iron main body 9 from being impaired by the plug 14. In such a state, the case 18 is fitted in the placing board 8 so as to enclose the iron main body 9 and the plug 14 from the upper side of the placing board 8, and is coupled by connecting with the connecting part 19 of the case 18 and the pin 20 of the placing board 8. Thereby, the housing capability of the plug can be improved.

The knob 10 is pushed into so that the positions of the knob click section 12 and the notched section 13 may be met with each other, and so the other end of the ring 14 is enlarged in the circumferential direction, and when the knob click section 12 is perfectly pushed into, then the ring 14 is returned to an original diameter, and the click section 12 and the ring 14 come in contact with each other, and the knob can be handily inserted into the handle to be fixed.
