摘要： A first communication device receives, from a second communication device, a trigger frame. The first communication device generates a single-user (SU) physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit that includes a PHY protocol payload, wherein the PHY protocol payload include information other than information that acknowledges a previous transmission from the second communication device. In response to the trigger frame, the first communication device transmits the SU PHY protocol data unit to the second communication device, such that the SU PHY protocol data unit is transmitted prior to the first communication device transmitting any other PHY protocol data unit after receiving the trigger frame.

摘要： In a method for communicating in a wireless communication network a trigger frame is generated to trigger simultaneous uplink transmissions by multiple communication devices. The trigger frame includes a padding portion having a length determined based on respective time duration requirements of the multiple communication devices, the respective time duration requirements for preparing uplink transmission by the corresponding second communication devices. The trigger frame is transmitted to the multiple communication devices. The simultaneous uplink transmissions, triggered by the trigger frame, are received from the multiple communication devices.

An availability of one or more subchannels of an orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) channel are determined by a first communication device for the UL MU transmission. A High Throughput (HT) Control field of a media access control (MAC) header that includes an indication of the determined availability of the one or more subchannels is generated by the first communication device. A MAC protocol data unit (MPDU) that includes the HT Control field is generated by the first communication device. 摘要： An access point, AP, device determines a set of basic service set identifiers, BSSIDs. Each BSSID includes a same group of most significant bits (MSBs) and a different group ofnleast significant bits, LSBs. The AP device assigns respective BSSIDs from the set of BSSIDs to multiple virtual APs, and designates one of the assigned BSSIDs as a reference BSSID that corresponds to a transmitter address, TA (510) for frames intended for client stations associated with more than one virtual AP. The AP device generates and transmits a management frame (500) that includes i) a header with a TA field set to one of the assigned BSSIDs (510), and ii) a frame body with a plurality of fields that includes a) a first field (568) set to n, and b) a second field (570) set to the n LSBs of the reference BSSID. The TA field, the first field, and the second field in the management frame indicate the reference BSSID to a client station that receives the management frame.

摘要： A beamforming training packet is transmitted from a first communication device to multiple second communication devices. A trigger frame is generated at the first communication device to trigger an uplink orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) transmission of beamforming training feedback from at least some of the multiple second communication devices. After transmission of the beamforming training packet by the first communication device, the trigger frame is transmitted to the at least some of the multiple communication devices. The uplink OFDMA transmission is then received at the first communication device. The uplink OFDMA transmission includes respective beamforming training feedback packets generated based on the beamforming training packet by respective ones of the at least some of the multiple second communication devices.
