    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for protecting saved operational data of machine equipment or similar equipment so as to make operational data for proving alteration remain sufficiently. SOLUTION: The method is provided for protecting saved operational data of machine equipment or similar equipment. In such a case, the operational data is stored by a computer system belonging to a control system of the machine equipment or a similar system for the equipment, and in such a case, the operational data is continuously caught in the form of a data set and also is stored in a data memory for later evaluation. In a second step, a comparison code for verifying the operational data existing in the data memory at the latest period of time is calculated from recorded operational data existing in the data memory at the latest point of time in each prescribed time interval on the basis of the same determination rule. In a third step, the comparison code is compared with a maintenance code generated at the original point of time, and in a fourth step, a warning signal is generated or a protection action is operated when the comparison code is different from the maintenance code generated at the original point of time.       SOLUTION: A method for determining the property of the gas by the turbo engine includes the steps: (a) setting a value (M) for the property of the gas; (b) selecting an engine property map on the basis of the predetermined value (M), (c) determining a first parameter (Δh) and a second parameter (n), which specify an operating point of the turbo engine; (d) determining an engine property map-parameter (Vk) on the basis of the parameters (Δh, n) and the engine property map; (e) determining a computational parameter (Vf); and (f) comparing the parameter (Vk) with the parameter (Vf); (g) setting a new value (M) on the basis of the comparison of the parameters (Vk, Vf), and repeating the steps (b) to (g).
