摘要： A packaging container for high value items (typically multi- pack cigarettes) and for use in self service retail premises is disclosed. The packaging container has a holding portion (12) for holding one or more items. There is also a locking device (38) for preventing the items from being removed from the holding portion. The locking device is unlocked using a tool so as to allow the holding portion to be removed. The locking device has an RFID tag to set off an alarm if the item is taken out of the retail premises without the tag having been removed first.

摘要： A garment hanger comprises a suspension member 12 for suspending the hanger from a hook, a body 14, at least one garment support portion, a display-receiving portion 18 located adjacent to the suspension member and a display member 20 for attachment 22 to the display receiving portion. The display member has a substantially planar front face and a pair of side portions extending away from the front face. The suspension member is preferably a metal hook 36 secured to the body by flexible tabs 40,42. An RFID tag 48 or like security device may be provided attached to the body of the garment hanger. The display member may be removable. In use, the display member may be viewed from the front and from the side and is therefore clearly visible when the garment hanger is on a rail. The display member may be provided in specific colours associated with a brand or department and may be removable to allow the display member to be changed for one in another colour or to allow the garment hanger to be refurbished.

摘要： A method of mounting one or more garments, particularly socks 14, on a hanger 12 and wrapping a display wrapper 10 around them includes bringing the garments 14 into engagement with an arm 20 of the hanger 12. A wrapper 10, formed of a sheet material and having a tab (62, fig 2b) extending from it, is folded partially around the garments 14. The tab 62 is then folded over the supporting arm 20 of the hanger 12 and the garment folded over the arm 20 too. Finally the wrapper 10 is folded around the garments 14 and fixed to itself thereby forming a loop around the garment 14 that cannot easily slip down the garment. When the garment 14 is sold the hanger 12 can be slipped from engagement with the garment 14 whilst the wrapper 10 remains in place. The wrapper 10 is also claimed.

摘要： A metal hook 20 for use in a garment hanger comprises an insertion portion 28 which is inserted into the plastic body portion of a hanger and a curved portion 26 for engaging a rail. A linear portion 32 extends between the insertion portion and the curved portion and a retaining portion 34 is located on the linear portion. The retaining portion has a cross-section greater than the average cross-section of the linear portion and tapers towards the curved portion. In use, the metal hook is especially suited for use with a size market having a pair of protrusions that engage with the retaining portion so as to hold the size marker in place on the metal hook.

摘要： A garment hanger for use with items having a belt loop 18 or the like loop of material comprises a hook 12 for suspending the hanger from a support rail and an enclosure loop 16 for enclosing and retaining the belt or like loop within a ring of plastic material. The enclosure loop has a rigid garment engaging portion 22 for engaging the belt or like loop to support the weight of a clothing item by said loop. The enclosure loop further comprises a closure portion 24 that allows the belt loop to access and be removed from the enclosure loop. The closure portion may be resilient and is moveable between an open position allowing access and removal of the belt or like loop and a closed position where the enclosure loop forms a ring that prevents the jeans from being removed. A label area 14 may be provided between the hook and enclosure loop. In use, the garment hanger is especially suited for use with heavy items of clothing that tend to fall off conventional garment hangers such as jeans or trousers.
