    • The invention relates to a method (90) in a user equipment (4) for reporting a downlink channel quality in a communication system (1) comprising a first radio access technology system (2) and a second radio access technology system (3). The user equipment (4) is in connection with a primary serving cell on the first radio access technology system (2) and with a secondary serving cell on the second radio access technology system (3). The method (90) comprises: determining (110) channel quality for the second radio access technology system (3) using an indicator format of the radio access technology of the second radio access technology system (3); mapping (120) an indicator of the channel quality having the indicator format of the second radio access technology to an indicator format used for channel quality indicators in the first radio access technology system (2); and transmitting (130) the indicator of the channel quality for the second radio access technology system (3) to the communication system (1) using the indicator format of the first radio access technology on an uplink carrier of the first radio access technology system (2). The invention also relates to a user equipment, methods in a network node and a network node.

    • A radio network node and a method therein for controlling usage of RAT and bandwidth in a radio communication system. The radio communication system includes the radio network node configured to support transmission and reception of one or more signals in a first RAT on a first bandwidth. Further, the communication system includes a plurality of terminals supporting the first RAT. The method includes transmitting signals associated with the first RAT on the first bandwidth to terminals supporting the first RAT. When traffic load passes a threshold, the method includes transmitting signals associated with the first RAT on a second bandwidth to terminals supporting the first RAT, wherein the second bandwidth is different from the first bandwidth and wherein the second bandwidth is partly overlapping the first bandwidth. Then, the method includes stopping transmission of signals associated with the first RAT on the first bandwidth.

    • A first wireless communication device is in communication with a second wireless communication device over an uplink communication link from the first wireless communication device to the second wireless communication device. Adaptive uplink antenna switching is performed at the first wireless communication device by switching between at least two antennas at the first wireless communication device in accordance with at least one antenna switching parameter to support the uplink communication link, determining whether each antenna switch is successful or unsuccessful and accumulating a history of successful and unsuccessful antenna switches. The at least one antenna switching parameter is modified based on the accumulated history of successful and unsuccessful antenna switches.

    • Method and arrangement in a base station for allocating scheduling request resources to a user equipment. The method and arrangement comprises receiving a bearer setup message from the user equipment and sending a first instruction comprising a first scheduling request interval, to be used by the user equipment. Also, a scheduling request is received from the user equipment. The moment of time when data was generated at the user equipment and a periodicity of data generation at the user equipment are estimated. Further, a second scheduling request interval and scheduling request resources to be used by the user equipment is determined, based on the estimated periodicity and moment of data generation at the user equipment, and sent to the user equipment. In addition, a method and arrangement in a user equipment for assisting the base station for allocating scheduling request resources to the user equipment are described.
