摘要： A device for adjusting the intake air temperature of carburetor-equipped internal combustion engines having an air intake system with a flapper valve in a duct junction admitting cold raw air and/or preheated raw air to the intake filter, depending on the raw air temperatures, the flapper valve position being controlled by a pneumatic membrane actuator receiving negative pressure from the intake manifold, via a vacuum line with a thermostat-controlled relief valve responsive to the temperature of the air mixture. In the drive connection between the membrane actuator and the flapper is arranged a wax thermostat which increases or decreases the effective length of the connection in response to the ambient air temperature, thereby adding the thermostat displacements to the actuator displacements.

摘要： A duct system suitable for use as an intake manifold for an internal combustion engine, including flap valves (13) for selective opening and closing of the ducts. The positions of the valves are continuously adjustable in order to produce a swirl in the flow of combustion air. To achieve this, a high degree of angular precision is required in the positioning of the valves. Intake manifold manufacturing tolerances need to be compensated during assembly of the valves. A valve adjusting mechanism is provided in mechanical couplings (23) of the valve linkage between the position adjusting motor (19) and the flap valves (13).

摘要： An arrangement for controlling the temperature of the intake air of internal-combustion engines has an intake air filter in which a swivellable control valve is provided that interacts with a pneumatic actuator. The actuator causes an adjustment of the control valve by a bimetallic control device, as a function of the air temperature fed to the internal-combustion engine. A thermostat is provided which, by way of a movable stop, determines the swivel range of the control valve in the direction that closes off the warm-air duct. The thermostat is arranged in a receiving device. This receiving device is fastened in a cold-air duct by a welded connection.

In this way, the transverse forces which arise during production of the intake device may be at least partially offset in the component, so that little or no forces are exerted on the molding tools, and the welding results for the intake pipe may thus be improved.
