    • The present invention provides an overlay instruction accessing unit and method, and a method and apparatus for compressing and storing a program. The overlay instruction accessing unit is used to execute a program stored in a memory in the form of a plurality of compressed program segments, and compresses: a buffer; a processing unit for issuing an instruction reading request, reading an instruction from the buffer, and executing the instruction; and a decompressing unit for reading a requested compressed instruction segment from the memory in response to the instruction reading request of the processing unit, decompressing the compressed instruction segment, and storing the decompressed instruction segment in the buffer, wherein while the processing unit is executing the instruction segment, the decompressing unit reads, according to a storage address of a compressed program segment to be invoked in a header corresponding to the instruction segment, a corresponding compressed instruction segment from the memory, decompresses the compressed instruction segment, and stores the decompressed instruction segment in the buffer for later use by the processing unit.

    • The present invention provides an overlay instruction accessing unit and method, and a method and apparatus for compressing and storing a program.     • A routing system utilizes a layer 2 switch interconnecting several routers to intelligently forward multicast packets throughout an interne exchange carrying multicast content. The layer 2 switch performs protocol snooping to extract a lookup key that is based on network layer protocol information. The lookup key is uniquely formulated to support either shared or explicit source distribution trees. The lookup key is used to query a forwarding memory that returns an outgoing port index. The outgoing port index points to one or more outgoing ports that are eligible to receive the multicast packet. The outgoing ports are also connected to the neighboring device(s) that are designated to receive the multicast packet. The routing system also supports real time maintenance and updating of the forwarding memory based on the periodic exchange of control messages. The routing system is configured to support PIM routers operating in PIM SM or PIM SSM modes. However, the routing system can also support other multicast protocols and/or standards.

    • Systems and methods for replicating data communicated over a network. According to one embodiment, among several embodiment, a data replication system includes a first interface table and a first application associated with a first computing system. The first application is configured to transfer data into the first interface table. The data replication system further includes a first replication module, which is also associated with the first computing system. The first replication module is configured to replicate data from the first interface table into a second interface table associated with a second computing system via a network. The data replication system also includes a second application and a second replication module associated with the second computing system. The second application is configured to transfer data into the second interface table. The second replication module is configured to replicate data from the second interface table into the first interface table via the network. Furthermore, the data replication system includes a web service module configured to check the contents of the second interface table before the first application performs a specific processing operation.

    • Systems and methods for reconciling financial transactions are described with respect to a number of embodiments of the present disclosure. In one implementation, among others, a method includes enabling a user to define how different types of financial items are grouped. The grouped financial items are selected from one of a financial statement associated with a first account with a first financial institution and financial data recorded by a customer of the first financial institution. The method also includes enabling the user to set matching criteria for matching financial items of the financial statement with financial items of the customer recorded financial data.
