    • A method for transmitting a signal and a communications apparatus are provided. The method includes: obtaining a signal transmission mode, where the signal transmission mode indicates that an uplink signal is transmitted in a multiplexing mode; and transmitting the uplink signal on an uplink band and a downlink band in the multiplexing mode according to the obtained signal transmission mode. The communications apparatus includes: a first obtaining unit, configured to obtain a signal transmission mode, where the signal transmission mode indicates that an uplink signals is transmitted in a multiplexing mode; and a transmitting unit, configured to transmit the uplink signal on an uplink band and a downlink band in the multiplexing mode according to the obtained signal transmission mode. The technical solutions of embodiments of the present invention can reduce signaling overheads of the system and improve spectrum efficiency of the system when obtaining channel state information (CSI).

    • Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, an apparatus, and a system for identifying different frame structures to ensure backward compatibility of an LTE-advanced (LTE-A) network. The method for identifying different frame structures includes: receiving a radio frame on a frequency division duplex (FDD) downlink carrier, where the radio frame includes an identifier of a frame structure; and identifying the frame structure according to the identifier of the frame structure included in the radio frame. Embodiments of the present invention also disclose a user equipment (UE), an evolved NodeB (eNB), and a system for identifying different frame structures. Through the technical solutions provided by embodiments of the present invention, LTE-A users can identify the frame structure carried on the FDD downlink carrier when accessing the network initially, but LTE users are unaware of the change of the frame structure.

    • An access method and a system for User Equipment (UE), and a network access device are disclosed. The access method for UE includes: sending a second Random Access Channel (RACH) message that carries Transmission Time Interval (TTI) bundling setting information to a UE after receiving a first RACH message from the UE; and receiving a third RACH message transmitted by the UE in a mode indicated by the TTI bundling setting information. With the access method and system for UE and the network access device, the second RACH message carries TTI bundling setting information so that the UE may send the third RACH message in a TTI bundling mode. Therefore, the time of random access is effectively saved. Moreover, when a UE is power-limited, the UE may send the third RACH message in a TTI bundling mode, so that the random access rate of the UE is improved.

    • In the field of wireless communication, a method and an apparatus for transmitting Uplink Control Information (UCI) are provided. The method includes: determining a codeword corresponding to the UCI among multiple codewords according to a preset rule when the UCI is transmitted on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) with the multiple codewords (101); and transmitting the UCI by mapping the UCI onto the corresponding codeword (102). The apparatus includes a determining unit and a transmitting unit. The method and the apparatus provide a solution to transmitting UCI on a PUSCH with multiple codewords. This solution can be implemented easily based on LTE R8, without involving too much additional work of standardization.
