    • The present invention relates to an integrated optical sheet and an optical device which includes the optical sheet, and more specifically, to an integrated optical sheet and an optical device adapted with the optical sheet, which can implement a thin film by integrating a diffuser film and a prism film and form optical lens patterns to prevent the wet-out phenomenon. The integrated optical sheet of the present invention comprises: a condensing unit which includes a plurality of prism factors extended in a first direction; and an anisotropic diffusing unit which is formed with a plurality of optical elements extended in a second direction that is different from the first direction, on an opposing surface of a surface on which the prism factors of the condensing unit are formed, wherein a plurality of optical lens patterns are developed on at least one of the surfaces consisting of a surface on which the prism factors are formed, and a surface on which the optical elements are formed.

    • The present invention relates to an optical device which maintains luminance characteristics at a maximum level, improves light-collecting effects, and enables a wide viewing angle, and to a backlight unit and a liquid crystal display comprising the same. To this end, one embodiment of the optical device of the present invention includes: a base film having a light transmittance; a plurality of iron portions formed on at least one surface of the base film; and a fine optical pattern containing a plurality of apexes and recesses continuously formed on parts of the iron portions. In the meantime, another embodiment of the optical device of the present invention includes a base film having a light transmittance, and a plurality of third fine optical patterns formed on at least one surface of the base film, wherein each of the third fine optical patterns has a portion contacting the surface of the base film, formed into a figure with a longer axis and a shorter axis, and wherein each of third fine optical patterns has an apex with a height that becomes lower as the latter goes from the center towards both ends thereof according to the direction of the longer axis of the figure.

    • The present invention relates to a backlight unit of a liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus, and more specifically to a light guide plate capable of condensing incident light from a side light source with respect to a horizontal or vertical view angle distribution according to an optical pattern formed on the lower surface of the light guide plate and then emitting said light towards an upper surface. The light guide plate of the present invention comprises: a patterned layer having a plurality of optical patterns formed on at least one surface, and a plurality of light diffusing particles dispersed in the optical patterns of the patterned layer, wherein a preform of the patterned layer and the light diffusing particles have different indexes of refraction. With the present invention, hot spots and bright lines that occur at a light source and incident light are suppressed, brightness and brightness uniformity are improved, and light, by nature of the light guide plate, is condensed with respect to horizontally and vertically directed view angle distributions according to a given optical pattern, so a reduced number of optical sheets for use in central emission of light onto the upper surface of the light guide plate can be used, which in turn reduces time and cost required for manufacturing such backlight units, thereby making the present invention useful for improving optical characteristics and for lowering manufacturing costs.
