That is, the liquid crystal cell to which a first video signal is to be inputted receives a video signal longer by a prescribed time than the period when the video signal is inputted to the liquid crystal cell to which a second video signal is to be inputted so that the same voltage can be supplied to respective liquid crystal cells. As a result, the same voltage is supplied to the liquid crystal cells which are adjacent with each other and to which video signals having the same polarity are to be inputted.
