摘要： Disclosed are an intra prediction method of a chrominance block using a luminance sample and an apparatus using the same. An image decoding method comprises the steps of: calculating an intra prediction mode of a chrominance block on the basis of an LM mapping table when the chrominance block uses an LM; and generating a prediction block for the chrominance block on the basis of the calculated intra prediction mode of the chrominance block. When intra prediction mode information of chrominance blocks are decoded, mutually different tables are used depending on whether or not an LM is used, so that encoding and decoding can be performed without an unnecessary waste of bits.

The intra prediction method comprises the following steps: setting a bottom right pixel as a DC prediction value; interpolating the bottom right pixel and an n-top reference pixel to calculate an n-row prediction value, and interpolating the bottom right pixel and an n-left reference pixel to calculate an n-column prediction value; and performing bidirectional linear interpolation to calculate prediction values of pixels contained in prediction units excluding an n-column and an n-row. According to the present invention, an improved intra prediction method is used to generate a prediction block near the value of an original block thus improving encoding/decoding efficiency during performing the intra prediction method.

The method for processing a video signal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps: acquiring scaled motion vector information for a block to be decoded; acquiring a global motion vector of a peripheral picture; restoring the scaled motion vector into an original motion vector using the global motion vector of the peripheral picture; and decoding the block to be decoded, using the restored original motion vector. According to a variety of embodiments of the present invention, image encoding and decoding can be performed in an efficient manner. For example, distortions caused by a blurring phenomenon can be prevented, and distortions caused by an accelerating motion occurred in the whole or a portion of an image can be prevented. In addition, block partitions suitable for characteristics of an image can be realized. Particularly, block partitions using a curve can be realized, thereby enabling motion prediction to be performed with consideration for all characteristics of an image. In addition, a search area having a variable size is set in proportion to a time and a distance, thereby preventing distortions in a direct prediction mode.

The video signal processing method according to the present invention can enhance processing efficiency by using a structure whereby a single unit is recursively divided into a plurality of units.
