    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a full ice state detector for minimizing an operation region for detecting full ice state by detecting the full ice state of an ice bank in which ice is accommodated by upper/lower straight elevation and for increasing the effective inner volume in a freezing room.
      SOLUTION: The full ice state detector includes an elevation member 69 arranged so that it can be elevated straight for the ice bank 80; an elevating means 70 for elevating the elevation member straight; and a sensing means 77 for detecting the full ice state in the ice bank according to the position of the elevation member. The sensing means comprises a magnet 78 mounted to one side of the elevation member; a hole sensor 79 mounted to the ice plant to detect a change in a magnetic field according to a change in the height of the magnet. The hole sensor is fitted to a control panel 66a in the ice plant 60.

    • PURPOSE: A refrigerator with multiple ice banks is provided to increase capacity of ice storage by arranging to be dispersed multiple icebanks. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a main body(1), an ice making machine, a first ice icebank, a second icebank, an ice dispenser(150), and an ice transferring device. A freezing room(2) is located under the main body and a refrigerating room(3) is above the freezing room. The ice making machine is located one side of the freezing room or the refrigerating room. The first icebank and the second ice bank store ice made by the ice making machine. The ice dispenser locating in the refrigerating room supplies the ice stored in the first icebank. The ice transferring device transfers the ice between the first icebank and the second icebank which respectively installed in different rooms. The rooms are thermally excluded and maintained at different temperature.

The ice input device puts ice stored in the ice bank into the transfer flow path. The blowing device let the ice move to the ice dispenser by air pressure.
