    • The present invention provides a voltage detection assembly for a battery module, which comprises: (a) an upper portion block case and a lower portion block case, which are interconnected by assembly and are mounted on the battery module parts (the front surface or the rear surface of the battery module) that correspond to the electrode terminal connection portions of battery cells; (b) conductive sensing parts on an upper portion row and a lower portion row, which are inserted into the respective electrode terminal connection portions; and (c) a connector that transmits the voltage detected by the conductive sensing parts to a BMS, wherein the upper portion block case and the lower portion block case include mounting grooves having an open top structure that correspond to the respective electrode terminal connection portions, the conductive sensing parts on the upper portion row are mounted on the mounting grooves in the upper portion block case and inserted into the electrode terminals on the upper portion row, and the conductive sensing parts on the lower portion row are mounted on the mounting grooves in the lower portion block case and inserted into the electrode terminals on the lower portion row.

    • The present invention relates to a mid- or large-sized battery pack having a structure in which two or more battery modules, including a plurality of chargeable/dischargeable battery cells or unit modules (unit cells), are embedded in the space between a pack case and a base plate. Cooling members including heat-dissipating fins contacting outer surfaces of the unit cells, and refrigerant pipes connected to the lower ends of the heat-dissipating fins, respectively, so as to enable refrigerant to flow therethrough, are arranged at the interfaces among the unit cells. The base plate located at the lower ends of the battery modules forms a refrigerant flow channel corresponding to the refrigerant flow direction of the refrigerant pipes. The pack case is coupled to the base plate when the battery modules are mounted on the base plate. The refrigerant for dissipating heat generated by the unit cells is introduced from one side of the refrigerant flow channel of the base plate, passes through the refrigerant pipes of the cooling members arranged among the unit cells, and is discharged through the other side of the refrigerant flow channel of the base plate.
