    • The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for treating exhaust gas exhausted from thermal installations such as a municipal solid waste incinerator and a furnace, or from air pollutant emitting facilities that emit both dust and gas. A hybrid-type method for treating exhaust gas according to the present invention comprises a release agent adhesion step of forming a release agent layer by evacuating air from the interior of a bag filter to the outside, and supplying release agent composition powder comprising porous expansion ceramic, a binder and a thickener into the bag filter so that the release agent composition powder can adhere to a surface of a bag of the bag filter; a chemical adhesion step of forming a chemical layer by evacuating the air from the interior of the bag filter to the outside, and supplying chemical powder into the bag filter so that the chemical powder can adhere to a surface of the release agent layer; a wet treatment step of spraying an alkaline material to the exhaust gas exhausted from an incinerator to neutralize the exhaust gas, and passing the exhaust gas through a mist eliminator to remove dust and moisture from the exhaust gas; and a dry treatment step of removing residual hazardous substances by passing the wet treated exhaust gas through the bag filter having the bag with the release agent layer and the chemical layer sequentially adhering thereto in the release agent adhesion step and the chemical adhesion step.

    • The present invention relates to an exhaust gas treatment method and apparatus, and more particularly, to an exhaust gas treatment method and apparatus capable of preventing generation of white smoke when exhaust gas is discharged. A method and apparatus for preventing generation of white smoke according to one aspect of the present invention utilizes a principle in which rain is formed in warm cloud. The exhaust gas treatment method for preventing generation of white smoke according to the present invention comprises the steps of primarily spraying hydrophilic alkaline solution in exhaust gas to form condensation nuclei in the exhaust gas; and secondarily supplying low-temperature outside air in the exhaust gas containing condensation nuclei consisting of hydrophilic materials to cause condensed micro waterdrops to undergo a collision/coalescence process with the condensation nuclei and then to grow into large raindrops and fall down. The exhaust gas treatment apparatus for implementing the above method comprises a wet purifying chamber and an outside air mixing chamber. Alkaline solution is sprayed to the exhaust gas passing through an interior of the wet purifying chamber, and low-temperature outside air is supplied to the exhaust gas passing through the outside air mixing chamber, whereby vapor becomes waterdrops and then the waterdrops fall down.

A wet type scrubber for exhaust gas according to the present invention comprises a wet scrubbing chamber which is disposed such that the exhaust gas introduced through an inlet flows horizontally toward an outlet and includes a drain hole formed at a position in a side surface thereof spaced apart by a certain distance upwardly from the bottom thereof; an eliminator which is disposed within the wet scrubbing chamber and installed such that the bottom thereof is positioned below the drain hole, and includes a plurality of bent blades arranged to form a passage for the exhaust gas; an oil/water separation tank for scrubbing liquid received from the drain hole by sequentially passing the liquid through a plurality of reservoirs; a spray nozzle installed to spray the liquid into an inlet-side space of the wet scrubbing chamber; a concentrating tank for receiving sludge precipitated in the oil/water separation tank and concentrating the sludge therein; and a dehydrator for separating moisture from the concentrated sludge and discharging the sludge.
