    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually achieve the accurate confirmation of the open/close state of a bottom valve by installing a valve position measuring tool at a ceiling side of an in-vehicle tank for inspecting the opening/closing state of the bottom valve.
      SOLUTION: The valve position measuring tool 28 is installed on the ceiling 2c of the in-vehicle tank 2 near a valve tube 23 of a breather valve 21 for confirming the opening/closing state of the bottom valve 4 at the ceiling side. The valve position measuring tool 28 is equipped with a guide rod 33 which extends upward and downward in parallel with a valve stem 25 of the breather valve 21, a full-close position stopper 34 which is installed at the guide rod 33 in accordance with the full-close position of the bottom valve 4, a full-open position stopper 35 which is installed at the upper end side of the guide rod 33 in accordance with the full-open position of the bottom valve 4, and a measuring bar 36 which is installed at the guide rod 33 in such a way that it is displaced upward and downward between stoppers 34, 35 and measures an amount projected by abutting against a head 25a of the valve stem 25 at the tip side of an abutting piece 36b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety and reliability of a valve device by detecting the opening/closing operation of a valve element as a change of air pressure in a detection pipe.
      SOLUTION: In a seal member 7 which is provided on a valve seat plate 5 of a bottom valve case 4, an annular air space 7A is formed extending all over the periphery. The air space 7A is connected to one side of the detection pipe 39 in an airtight state, and the detection pipe 39 is pulled at the other side to the outside of a liquid storage tank 2 via a pipe insertion hole 5D formed at the valve seat plate 5 of the bottom valve case 4. The detection pipe 39 pulled to the outside is connected at its front end to a pressure detector 40 at a position sufficiently apart from the liquid storage tank 2 and the bottom valve case 4. Thus, the elastic deformation of the seal member 7 accompanied by the opening/closing of a bottom valve element 16 is conveyed as a change of air pressure in the air space 7A and the detection pipe 39 to the pressure detector 40.

The breather valve 90 has a valve seat 88 which is installed at an intermediate section of a flow passage 86, an exhaust valve 92 which is opened when the inside of the underground tank 12 turns pressurized, and an inlet valve 94 which opens when the inside of the underground tank 12 becomes a negative pressure state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible oil-proof hose formed by winding a signal wire such as an electric cable on a hose, transmitting a signal, and reducing abrasion, damage or the like of the signal wire.
      SOLUTION: A liquid injection hose 11 is composed of the multilayer hose 12 composed of a long cylindrical body, the electric cable 20 as the signal wire, a protective tape 21, a metallic outer wire 22 or the like. The electric cable 20 is wound on an outer peripheral side of an envelope 19 of the hose 12 with a comparatively large spiral pitch, and the electric cable 20 is adhered and fixed to the hose 12 by the protective tape 21. The metallic outer wire 22 is wound on the protective tape 21 at an outer peripheral side of the hose 12 with a small spiral pitch. The spiral direction of the electric cable 20 is opposite to the spiral direction of the outer wire 22, thus a problem on disordering or the like caused by loosening of the electric cable 20 can be prevented.
