    • Disclosed is a liquid crystal display capable of improving the bending phenomenon of a liquid crystal panel. The liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel having upper and lower substrates bonded each other with a liquid crystal layer interposed between them; an upper polarization plate attached to the upper surface of the upper substrate; and a lower polarization plate attached to the lower surface of the lower substrate. The upper and lower polarization plates have adhesion layers, respectively, which have different adhesion forces depending on the bending direction of the liquid crystal panel.

    • A transmission frame structure for use in a control communication network allows all process control stations contained in the control communication network to share monitoring/control information received from a field communication network or an information communication network, and properly copes with faulty operations of channels (i.e., ring-shaped lines) or process control stations for use in the control communication network. The transmission frame structure of a control communication network for use in a nuclear-power-plant distributed control system which broadcasts data received from a node having transmission authority to all nodes via a bypass line, and allows a ring accelerator to detour the data and to isolate an erroneous station from normal stations, includes a transmission frame. The transmission frame includes: a destination address for performing the broadcasting operation; a source address for recording a source node address (ID) therein; a type/length field for classifying frames into a control data frame and a network management event frame; a network management (NM_TYPE) field which is valid only when it is designated by type/length field, and performs different roles according to network management event frame types; a Seq&Ver field for including the number of transmissions of a data frame and frame upgrade version information; a NS_ID field for recording number information of a node equal to the next token reception node, and being used when one station transmits a token to the next station; a data field having a predetermined maximum size of 1 kbyte, for including not only general control information according to a value of the type/length field, but also 7 event frames such as a token frame; and a CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Code) field for inspecting the presence or absence of a CRC error, whereby the transmission frame operates the communication network, solves a malfunction or error of the communication network, and recovers the communication network.

    • A blower comprising: a centrifugal fan; a driving unit for rotating the centrifugal fan; a bracket including a base fixedly-coupled to one side of the driving unit and a protrusion protruded from the base in a shaft direction of the centrifugal fan; and a fan housing fixedly-coupled to the bracket so as to rotatably receive the centrifugal fan, and including a suction port formed at one side of the bracket in the shaft direction of the centrifugal fan so as to suck air by the rotation of the centrifugal fan, and a discharge port formed in a perpendicular direction of the suction port, for discharging the air sucked through the suction port, wherein one side of the discharge port is formed in ‘V’ shape by a first inclination surface formed in the protrusion of the bracket and a second inclination surface formed at the fan housing which is contact with one end of the protrusion, and at least one of the first and second inclination surfaces is formed in a curved line so as to increase a discharge area of the discharge port, whereby a flow rate discharged through the discharge port can uniformly be distributed so as to reduce noise and simultaneously increase a discharged air volume.

    • An over-the-hood (OTR) microwave oven includes: a main body installed above a cooking source of a gas range and having therein a cavity and an electric equipment chamber in which a magnetron is located; an air exhaust path installed inside the main body and providing a path through which air generated from the cooking source which is introduced through a suction port formed at the bottom of the main body by a suction force of a blower installed at the main body is exhausted to the outside of the main body; and an airstream guide path installed inside the main body and providing a path through which air inside the electric equipment chamber is discharged to a front end portion of the bottom of the main body by a flow generating apparatus installed inside the electric equipment chamber in order to guide air from the cooking source to the suction port, so that delightfulness of a cooking environment is obtained by blocking air containing cooking by-products which used to flow toward the face of the cook, thereby improving product reliability and competitiveness.

    • A centrifugal fan, in which an expansion angle of a radius of curvature of the outer periphery of a scroll housing from a position angle of a cutoff portion, serving as a suction portion, to a designated portion from the former in the direction of air flow is gradually decreased; and an expansion angle of the radius of curvature of the outer periphery of the scroll housing from the above designated portion to a discharge portion is gradually increased, thereby easily converting the velocity of the discharged fluid to pressure due to the increased dimensions of the discharge region and increasing the flow rate. Further, since noise generated from a cutoff portion of the centrifugal fan of the present invention maintains the same level as that of the conventional centrifugal fan, the centrifugal fan of the present invention has reduced noise at the same flow rate.
