摘要： A hood mount assembly for positioning and mounting a hood to a vehicle having a frame and a cab, wherein the hood is moveable between open and closed positions, includes a hinge assembly adjustably mountable between a front portion of the hood and the vehicle frame and at least one ball and socket assembly. The at least one ball and socket assembly has a ball member secured to one of a portion of the cab and a rear portion of the hood and a socket secured to the other of the portion of the cab and the rear portion of the hood. The ball member is receivable within the socket when the hood is moved into the closed position. An interior surface of the socket guides the ball into a predetermined position within the socket to position the hood relative to the cab.

The fairing assembly 100 further includes a first support member 136 having first end coupled to the first support structure 112 and a second end coupled to the second support structure 122. A first elastic compression member 170 is positioned between the first end of the first support member 136 and the first support structure 112, and a second elastic compression member 170 is positioned between the second end of the first support member 136 and the second support structure 122. The first and second elastic compression members 170 impart opposing forces on the first support member 136 to position the first support member relative to the first and second support structures 112 and 122.

The plenum (88)is in fluid communication with an aperture (98) that penetrates through a peripheral wall (58) of the sleeper box (18), thereby providing fresh air (46) to the plenum (88). The plenum includes an enclosure (86) and a fresh air inlet (70) that is in fluid communication with an interior of the enclosure (86) and the aperture (98). The plenum also includes a recirculated air inlet (68) in fluid communication with the interior of the enclosure (86) and the air contained within the sleeper box (18). The plenum further includes an air outlet (52) in fluid communication with the inlets (68 and 70). The air outlet (52) is adaptable to be in fluid communication with a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. Additionally, a method for providing fresh air to a sleeper box is disclosed.

A user of the HVAC control system may assign master status to the control head of the zone in which the user is located, and from that control head, control the environmental settings for HVAC systems servicing other zones in the vehicle. A data communication bus implemented in the vehicle may be used as the datalink.
