摘要： The present invention relates to an improvement in a detection system used for continuously measuring the release of a drug from a pharmaceutical dosage form having a singular dissolution vessel or multiple dissolution vessels containing a dissolution medium and a measuring device for detecting the amount of drug released at a given time, the improvement being a mixing shaft and a probe placed within the mixing shaft or outside the individual dissolution vessels, the probe capable of measuring the dissolution characteristics using UV, IR, near-IR, fluorescence, electrochemical, and Raman spectroscopy techniques. The present invention also relates to a method for predicting the dissolution curve provided by a controlled release pharmaceutical dosage form by taking continuous measurements of the amount of drug released from a dosage form for a portion of the time over which the drug is expected to be released and predicting the remainder of the dissolution curve based on the values obtained.

The smart directory manager includes a directory memory, user interface devices and a directory management device. The directory management device generates a recommended delete-directory-entry of the directory memory and deletes the recommended delete-directory-entry from the directory memory when a delete instruction is received from a user. The directory management device generates the recommended delete-directory-entry by comparing information of each directory entry contained in the directory memory based on a predetermined delete strategy. The directory entry having the information that best satisfies the predetermined delete strategy is selected as the recommended delete-directory-entry.

The post call directory entry device includes a directory memory, a post call controller and a user interface device that includes a keypad, a microphone and a speaker. The post call controller stores a remote number in the directory memory after the telephone station is on-hook. The save number is stored in the directory memory if the directory memory is not full and if a user responds to a save request output by the post call controller. The save number is one of a dialed number entered by the user using a dialpad portion of the keypad and a remote caller telephone station number. The remote number is determined when the telephone station is off-hook.

摘要： A system and method for testing communication devices, such as speakerphones, are disclosed. In one embodiment, a two-way conversation is pre-recorded for playback through one or more test communications devices to evaluate communications device performance. The test set-up permits the recording of a two-way full-duplex communication onto two or more channels of the same recording/playback device, thereby preserving the content and timing relationships between speech segments. A comparison can be made between the live conversation and the conversation as it was realized in the playback condition over a test communications device. The original and the test will be different based on the performance of the communications device. This method decreases the test time and provides other efficiencies useful in connection with testing, evaluation and quality control for communications device acoustic and network performance testing.
