    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler condensation system corrosion monitoring device capable of monitoring quickly and quantitatively a corrosion tendency of a boiler condensation system.
      SOLUTION: Vapor from a boiler is cooled in an air-cooling type metal capillary coil 8 into condensed water, and the condensed water is brought into contact with an extremely thin metal wire 16 in a test column 15, thereby promote the corrosion of the extremely thin metal wire 16. An electric resistance between both ends of the extremely thin metal wire 16 is detected by a tester 17. Since the electric resistance detected by the tester 17 is increased in proportion to progress of the corrosion of the extremely thin metal wire 16, the corrosion of the extremely thin metal wire 16 can be detected quantitatively and accurately from the electric resistance. Electric resistance data from the tester 17 can be transmitted, or subjected to A/D conversion and stored in a computer or the like.

Coating by a coating material 9 is applied to a portion inside the through-hole 7 and a portion positioned on a close portion to the lower-side end member 2 of the extremely thin metal wire 4, and the test fluid is not brought directly into contact with the extremely thin metal wire 4. Consequently, local erosion will not be generated, on the portion inside the through-hole 7 nor on the portion close thereto of the very thin metal wire 4.
