    • A cooling apparatus for a light valve of the present invention includes a control box disposed on the back of the light valve to actuate the light valve, followed by a heat pipe and a heat-conducting component pasted upon the inner surface of the control box. The heat-conducting component is connected to a heat-collecting end of the heat pipe and one of its surface contacts with the light valve. The heat of the light valve is conducted to the second part of the control box through the heat-conducting component, and then the heat is conducted to the second part of the control box via the heat pipe pasted upon it. Thus, the heat of the light valve can be removed through the large area of the second part of control box, so as to increase the cooling efficiency and simplify the cooling apparatus.

    • A cooling device for a reflective liquid crystal image kernel has an air duct unit on the external case, which is separated into front and rear end ducts and has an axial fan blowing downward. A guide plane has both of its lateral sides aslant downward to guide part of the air flow blown from the axial fan to the split air duct of each light valve on the outer side of the air duct unit to cool the outer surface of three light valves fixed on the outer case of the kernel. The air blown downward from the axial fan passes through the front and the rear air ducts of the air duct unit directly, and passing through the ventilation holes of the external case into the optical components such that a single fan is used to enhance heat dispersion and reduce noise.

    • A heat-dissipating structure for a flat panel display comprises a heat-collector plate, a soft thermal-pad and at least one heat-sink component. The heat-collector plate is made of metal material having a first-face, a second-face and a plurality of edge-sides. The first-face is contact with a back-bezel of the flat panel display. The soft thermal-pad is made of soft material with high thermal conductivity. The soft thermal-pad has a bottom-face and a top-face. The bottom-face is contact with the second-face.
