    • Herein disclosed is a data communication system in which a plurality of node equipments are linked to a common signal transmission line so that the data may be communicated between the respective node equipments. The data communication system is characterized: in that at least one of the node equipments includes means for generating and transmitting repeatedly for a predetermined period the channel which contains a data transmission bit and a validity bit for the former bit; and in that each of the node equipments linked to the common signal transmission line partly sends out the data through said channel and partly makes the validity indicating bit indicate an invalid state, when the speed of said data is so slower than the predetermined period of said channel that the data to be sent out for the predetermined period are out of time thereby to make it possible to effect the data transmission at an arbitrary speed shorter than said predetermined period.Herein also disclosed is a data communication system in which a plurality of node equipments are jointed by a common transmission loop line and in which the information of multiple channels is repeatedly transmitted for a predetermined period to said transmission loop line so that the channel information may be sent and received between terminal equipments linked to said node equipments. The data communication system is characterized in that an identical pattern for synchronization is inserted into and transmitted by the plural head channels of each period so that the synchronization is effected at each of said node equipments by detecting the synchronizing pattern received by means of a detecting circuit.

    • Switches create and manage routes with route control protocols such as BGP-4, PNNI, etc. and a route management apparatus is notified of the information of the routes, created by these protocols, and the route management apparatus verifies the validity of a route of which the apparatus is notified by a switch based on the route information of the whole network composed of the plurality of pieces of information given by respective switches and the management policy set by a network manager. In the verification of validity, it is confirmed that the transmitted data are able to arrive at the destination securely and the set route is not against the management policy, and the route-usage-permission-notice of a route confirmed of its validity by the route management apparatus is transmitted to respective switches. Thereby, in the route control of a network using a route control protocol, it is made possible to prevent the occurrence of an abnormal route caused by the difference in the speed of operations of respective switches or an erroneous setting of a switch.

    • In a service system including client apparatuses for issuing a service request and server apparatuses for receiving a service request and providing service, there is provided a data relaying apparatus for relaying data communication between them. In response to a service request, the data relaying apparatus establishes a connection from the client apparatus to the server apparatus (destination). The data relaying apparatus relays data communication between the client apparatus and the server apparatus by using the established connection. The data relaying apparatus manages a number of connections established to each of the server apparatuses. In response to a service request, the data relaying apparatus accepts or refuses the service request so as to make a number of connections to the server apparatus equal to or less than a predetermined number, and notifies a user refused relaying of a service request that relaying is possible.
