    • A portable computer apparatus includes a display module, a host module, at least one shaft mechanism, and an antenna. The display module has a first pivot side and includes first and second upper-cover members and a display device contained in the first and second upper-cover members. The host module has a second pivot side and includes first and second lower-cover members and a host device contained in the first and second lower-cover members. The host device is electrically connected to the display device and the antenna. The shaft mechanism is pivotally connected to at least one of the first and second upper-cover members corresponding to the first pivot side and at least one of the first and second lower-cover members corresponding to the second pivot side. The antenna is integrally formed with the shaft mechanism or on one of the first and second pivot sides.

    • The invention discloses a wireless signal antenna including a substrate, a grounding element, a metal radiator element, a signal transmission line, and a ground connection part. The metal radiator element includes a first radiator unit, a second radiator unit, and a signal feed-in point. The ground connection part is electrically connected to the signal feed-in point and the grounding element. The first radiator unit is disposed on the substrate and bent to include a first radiator part, a second radiator part, and a third radiator part, wherein at least a part of the first radiator unit is disposed along edges of the substrate. The second radiator unit is disposed between the first radiator unit and the grounding element. The signal transmission line includes a signal line and a ground line respectively connected to the signal feed-in point and a layout area of the grounding element. The signal transmission line receives electrical signals from a signal source and then excites the metal radiator element to generate a first frequency band mode and a second frequency band mode.

    • The invention relates to a wide-band planar antenna. The wide-band planar antenna includes a substrate, a first radiator, a second radiator, a third radiator, a ground, and a signal source. The first radiator, the second radiator, and the third radiator are designed in a manner that the antenna of the invention can be applied to WiMAX communication devices. Besides, the wide-band planar antenna of the invention is more efficient than a general wide-band antenna and saves a significant amount of electrical power, and therefore, the antenna is particularly suitable for portable communicational devices.
