SOLUTION: The device 1 for sterilizing a container 10 comprises a treatment head 5 with an outlet window 8 which a charge carrier can get through, a charge carrier generating source for generating the charge carrier, and an acceleration device 6 for accelerating the charge carrier in the direction of the outlet window 8. The cross section of the treatment head 5 has a certain size such that the treatment head 5 can be led through the mouth of the container 10. The acceleration device 6 accelerates the charge carrier in a manner that the charge carrier ejected from the outlet window 8 can be radiated onto an inner wall 15 of the container 10.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization apparatus for granting evaluation on appropriateness of electron radiation even when a complicated object such as a container including a wall with an undercut should be sterilized.SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises: an electric charge carrier generator; acceleration means which is positioned within a housing and accelerates an electric charge carrier; and an outlet window for putting the electric charge carrier out of the housing; and a sensor unit 20 for acquiring at least one measurement peculiar for the electric charge carrier put out of the outlet window. The sensor unit 20 includes a first sensor device and a second sensor device. The first sensor device is disposed with respect to the outlet window in such a manner that an electric charge carrier passing in a first predetermined direction from the outlet window to the first sensor device is detected. The second sensor device is disposed with respect to the outlet window in such a manner that an electric charge carrier passing in a second predetermined direction from the outlet window to the second sensor device is detected. The sensor devices detect the measurement peculiar for the electric charge carrier put out of the outlet window independently of each other.

    • Eine Vorrichtung zum Sterilisieren von Behältnissen (10) mit einer Ladungsträgererzeugungseinrichtung (2), welche Ladungsträger erzeugt, mit einer Beschleunigungseinrichtung (4), welche die Ladungsträger in einer vorgegebenen Richtung (Z) innerhalb eines Gehäuses (6) beschleunigt und mit einem Austrittsfenster (12) durch welches die Ladungsträger aus dem Gehäuse (6) austreten, wobei die die Vorrichtung eine Sensoreinheit (20) aufweist, welche wenigstens einen Messwert erfasst, der für die aus dem Austrittsfenster (12) austretenden Ladungsträger charakteristisch ist. Erfindungsgemäß weist die Sensoreinheit (20) eine erste Sensoreinrichtung (22) auf, welche bezüglich des Austrittsfensters (12) derart angeordnet ist, dass sie Ladungsträger erfasst, welche in einer ersten vorgegebenen Richtung (Z) von dem Austrittsfenster (12) zu der ersten Sensoreinrichtung (22) gelangen sowie eine zweite Sensoreinrichtung (24), welche bezüglich des Austrittsfensters (12) derart angeordnet ist, dass sie Ladungsträger erfasst, welche in einer zweiten vorgegebenen Richtung (X) von dem Austrittsfenster (12) zu der zweiten Sensoreinrichtung (24) gelangen, wobei die Sensoreinrichtungen (22, 24) unabhängig voneinander jeweils Messwerte (M1, M2) erfassen, die für die aus dem Austrittsfenster (12) austretenden Ladungsträger charakteristisch sind.
