摘要： An overtube comprises a flexible tubular portion in which an insertion channel is formed. An endoscope is inserted through the insertion channel. A plurality of balloons are loaded at plural positions on an outer surface of the flexible tubular portion. Specially, the balloons are expanded and shrunk selectively every use pattern, and the positions are different from each other in an axial direction of the flexible tubular portion and set to be fixed to an inner wall of either a body cavity or a tubular cavity of an object being examined at mutually different positions of the inner wall by expanding the balloons.

The overtube is then sent to a position which is adjacent to the Vater's papilla along the insertion tube of the first endoscope. After this, the first endoscope is pulled from the overtube. A second endoscope is then inserted into the overtube to make a distal end portion of its insertion tube protrude from the distal end of the overtube and is located adjacently to the Vater's papilla. The second endoscope thus-approached is used to treat the Vater's papilla and the tissue therearound.

摘要： A therapeutic system is provided, which is preferable to a treatment of pancreatic duct and biliary duct for Roux-en-Y gastrectomy patient. The therapeutic system is provided with a catheter equipped with an imaging device outputting a signal in reply to imaging, an overtube to be inserted into inside a patient, and a display displaying images based on the signal outputted from the imaging device. The overtube has an inserting channel into which the catheter is inserted, a therapeutic instrument channel into which a therapeutic instrument is inserted, an elevating base formed in an opening located at a distal end of, at least, the therapeutic-instrument channel, and an operation device to operate the elevating base. The elevating base is formed to allow a distal end portion of the therapeutic instrument to be mounted on the elevating base to elevate the distal end portion.
