摘要： Coded light has been proposed to enable advanced control of light sources and transmit information using light sources. Sequences of channel symbols to drive the light source are determined from sequences of source symbols such that no visible flicker is present in coded light emitted by the light sources. Each source symbol is mapped to a composite channel symbol comprising at least one first channel symbol which may be identical to the current source symbol and at least one second channel symbol which may be a function of the current source symbol and at least one future and/or past source symbol.

摘要： This invention presents a system and a method for revoking a fall alarm of a user after the fall is detected. The system comprises an altimeter, an accelerator, a processor and a controller. The altimeter and the accelerator worn by the user acquire a plurality of parameters relating to the fall. The processor processes the plurality of parameters to determine a posture change of the user within a first predefined period after the fall is detected. The controller revokes the fall alarm when the posture change indicates that the user has stood up. By processing the parameters acquired by the altimeter and the accelerator worn by the user, the posture change of the user, such as the user has stood up, can be determined. And then the fall alarm can be revoked when the posture change indicates that the user has stood up. In this way, unnecessary actions for dealing with the fall alarm can be avoided to save manpower and material resources.

摘要： The invention applies to the verification of the identity of an object based on measurements of a physical characteristic of said object. In an enrollment phase, an object with known identity is measured. The resulting enrollment measurement is stored for future reference. Then in the verification phase, an object presented for verification is measured, and the verification measurement is compared with the enrollment measurement to decide whether or not the two measurements originate from the same object. According to the invention, the enrollment and the verification measurements are modeled as two realizations of a first random variable affected by an enrollment noise and a verification, noise respectively, said enrollment and verification noises being a realization of a second and a third random variable, respectively, said first, second and third random variables having known distributions.

This may provide error locative clues across words of multiword groups, that originate in high protectivity clue words and point to low protectivity target words. The clue words may have a first uniform size and be interspersed in a first uniform manner. The target words may have a second uniform size and be interspersed in a second uniform manner. The organization may be applied for use with optical storage. Sectors may get provisional protectivity as a low-latency error correction mechanism.
