    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a decorated product produced by forming a metal thin film on a substrate surface and further applying a paint to the product, by which method painting defects and troubles can be favorably inhibited and foreign matters deposited on the product with a film, which causes painting defects and troubles, can be effectively checked without affecting the health of workers' eyes.
      SOLUTION: The decorated product is manufactured by: sending a molded substrate into a deposition chamber; conducting a prescribed deposition treatment to form the desired metal thin film on the substrate surface and; applying the paint to the obtained product. After taking the product out of the deposition chamber, the product is subjected to diselectrification or dust removal operation, subsequently exposed to green light to check for foreign matter deposited on the surface of the product and to sort the product, and only the product free from foreign matters is further subjected to paint application.
