    • A process for producing a molded product having excellent heat resistance, which including forming a composition including a crystalline polyamide by mixing together (a) 50-90% by weight of a hexamethylene adipamide component, (b) 5-40% by weight of a hexamethylene terephthalamide component, (c) 5-30% by weight of a hexamethylene isophthalamide component, components (a), (b) and (c) being based on the weight of the crystalline polyamide, and (d) 1-150 parts by weight of an elastomer, based upon 100 parts by weight of the crystalline polyamide; forming a melt polymer from the composition and applying shear to the melt polymer, the melting point (Tm) and crystallization temperature (Tc) of the crystalline polyamide being Tm.gtoreq.225.degree. C. and Tc.ltoreq.230.degree. C., respectively, and the melt viscosity of the crystalline polyamide varying greatly depending on the shear rate applied to the melt polymer and satisfying formulae (I) and (II): 2,000,000.gtoreq..mu.a10.gtoreq.2,000 (I) .mu.a10/.mu.a1000.gtoreq.3.3 (II) wherein: Tm: melting point of the polyamide (.degree.C.) .mu.a10: melt viscosity at a temperature of Tm+20.degree. C. and a shear rate of 10 (1/sec) (poise) .mu.a1000: melt viscosity at a temperature of Tm+20.degree. C. and a shear rate of 1000 (1/sec) (poise); and forming a parison from the melt polymer and blow molding the parison to form the molded product.

    • There is provided a three-phase brushless motor 12 having a harmonic component other than a fundamental wave component in an induced electromotive force, and a phase current command value is output by using the induced electromotive force containing the harmonic component and a phase current is supplied to the motor 12 based on the phase current command value. A content of the harmonic component is set based on a skew angle β of the motor 12, and the skew angle β is set to be smaller than a skew angle at which an induced electromotive force has a fundamental wave and is set to be a skew angle at which a cogging torque is equal to or smaller than a target value Tc1. Consequently, it is possible to suppress a torque ripple and to enhance an output performance of the motor without deteriorating a cogging torque performance.

    • Secret values used in a multi-server authentication scheme are updated. Information is authenticated in a system comprising a plurality of processing devices each adaptable for communication with one or more other devices. The information is authenticated by generating at least first and second shares of a first password associated with a first device (such as a client device); storing the first and second shares in respective second and third devices of the plurality of devices; updating the first and second shares using a personalized proactivization value; assigning a version number to the updated first and second shares; and upon submission of additional information associated with the first device to at least one of the second and third devices, the second and third devices utilizing the respective updated first and second shares for a given version number to collectively determine a correspondence of the additional information with the first password.
