摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizer and its manufacture process, and a deodorizing filter, highly efficiently removing a lower aldehyde including acetaldehyde and formaldehyde at room temperature without using any expensive catalyst such as platinum, palladium. SOLUTION: The deodorizer includes a catalyst having a base material of a manganese oxide which carries a ruthenium or phosphate compound. When the ruthenium compound is carried, the amount of the ruthenium element carried in the ruthenium compound to the amount of the deodorizer is preferably between 0.1% and 0.6% by mass, and when the phosphate compound is carried, the amount of the phosphate element carried to the amount of the deodorizer is preferably between 0.1% and 20% by mass.
