    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methane pump of a methane scrubber device enabling the sufficient lubrication and cooling of an upper bearing even if a liquid CO is gasified and having excellent energy efficiency.
      SOLUTION: An upper bearing 1j supporting the upper projected end from a drive motor 1m of a rotating shaft 1i driving a multi-stage centrifugal pump 1f stored in a liquid pot 1a having an inlet 1b and an outlet 1c for a CO/methane liquid is fitted into the lower end opening part of a bearing support recessed part 1n formed in the inner upper part of a motor housing 1d and projected downward. The bearing support recessed part 1n is connected to a vertical midway in the pump housing 1e of the multi-stage centrifugal pump 1f through a liquid/gas flowing passage 1p' and a liquid/gas circulation flow passage 1p, and gas in the bearing support recessed part 1n on the upstream side more than the upper bearing 1j is sucked to flow the CO/methane liquid in the motor housing 1d into the bearing support recessed part 1n.
