摘要： The invention relates to an interlaced to progressive conversion method and system by use of an interpolation algorithm (IPC algorithm) which is scaleable with several levels or modes with an increasing computational complexity depending on increasing availability of resources, i.e. computation power, available memory and available memory bandwidth. An IPC mode control can be implemented as a decision table. Peferably, at least five levels of the algorithm can be scaled beginning with line repetition (lowest level), linear interpolation (lower level), median inter-field computation with a three-tap or a five-tap median operator (medium level) and a combination of a linear interpolator and a median interpolator, eventually in combination with edge detection (higher levels of the scaleable algorithm).

摘要： The invention relates to the provision of noble metal-containing mixtures for a process for processing them by heating the mixture, preferably for processing them by means of an ashing process. This provision is characterized by the following measures: (a) moistening of the noble metal-containing mixture to be processed, (b) introduction of the moistened noble metal-containing mixture into at least one container which serves as diffusion barrier for water, and (c) introduction of the loaded container into a heat-resistant chamber together with at least one upper refractory mat. The noble metal-containing mixture is preferably moistened in the presence of a porous material and the chamber is closed by means of a heat-resistant covering. The invention further provides a processing process comprising the provision of noble metal-containing mixtures and also the heat-resistant chamber loaded with noble metal-containing mixtures itself. The process of the invention enables simple, clean recovery of noble metals in high yield from noble metal-containing mixtures.

摘要： A system and method are disclosed for effectively performing an audio/video synchronization procedure in a receiver device that is embodied in a computer that receives input data from a source device and provides output data to a destination device. The receiver device may preferably include a demultiplexer configured to recover elementary bitstreams from a multiplexed bitstream. The demultiplexer may also preferably extract decode timestamps and output timestamps corresponding to the elementary bitstreams. One or more decoders may then decode the elementary bitstreams to produce decoded frames in accordance with the foregoing decode timestamps. One or more output modules may then process the decoded frames to produce processed frames in accordance with the output timestamps. In accordance with the present invention, an output controller may preferably perform an output timing resynchronization procedure following a program change event to align output timings of the processed frames in accordance with new output timestamps from the selected program.
