    • A fluid pump includes coils that generate magnetic poles in the inner circumferential periphery of the stator core when being supplied with electricity. The magnetic poles are switched by controlling electricity supplied to the coils. The outer circumferential periphery of the rotator defines magnetic poles different from each other with respect to the rotative direction. The outer circumferential periphery of the rotator is opposed to the inner circumferential periphery of the stator core. A pump portion has a rotor member, which is rotated by the rotor member for pumping fuel. A housing has a pump housing portion and a motor housing portion. The pump housing portion surrounds the outer circumferential periphery of the pump portion. The motor housing portion defines an accommodating portion that surrounds the outer circumferential periphery of the stator core. The motor housing portion is dented radially inwardly with respect to the pump housing portion.

    • A fuel pump includes a stator core that has teeth being circumferentially arranged. Coils are formed by concentrically winding a wire around each of the teeth. The coils circumferentially generate magnetic poles in inner circumferential peripheries of the teeth when being supplied with electricity. The magnetic poles being switched by controlling electricity supplied to the plurality of coils. A rotator has an outer circumferential periphery opposed to the inner circumferential peripheries. The outer circumferential periphery defines magnetic poles different from each other with respect to a rotative direction thereof. A pump portion that has a rotor member rotated by the rotator for pumping fuel. An electrically insulative resin material is charged between the teeth, which are circumferentially adjacent to each other, thereby being molded such that the electrically insulative resin material covers the plurality of coils.

    • A fluid pump includes a stationary part. A rotator is rotatable around the inner circumferential periphery of the stationary part. One of the stationary part and the rotator includes at least one coil that generates magnetic force between the stationary part and the rotator for rotating the rotator when being supplied with electricity. A pump portion is provided to one axial end of the rotation axis of the rotator. A cover covers the other axial end of the rotation axis of the rotator and the stationary part. The cover defines an outlet passage through which fluid is discharged from the pump portion. The cover has a bearing hole that rotatably supports the other axial end of the rotation axis. The bearing hole has a closed bottom. The cover has a communication passage that communicates the outlet passage with the bearing hole.

    • A fuel pump control device is for a fuel supply system for an engine. The system includes a fuel tank, a subtank, a fuel pump pumping fuel in the subtank for supply to the engine, a pressure regulator regulating fuel pressure from the fuel pump within a set pressure, and a jet pump pumping fuel in the fuel tank into the subtank through pumping action by a fuel ejection flow to the fuel tank through a return pipe of the regulator. The device includes a fuel level detecting unit for detecting fuel tank level and a control unit for controlling fuel discharge amount from the fuel pump. The control unit sets jet pump drive correction amount of fuel for driving the jet pump based on the fuel tank level. The control unit increases the fuel discharge amount from the fuel pump by the correction amount to drive the jet pump.
