    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve element, hardly causing wearing due to repetition of valve closing operation, brought into face contact with a valve seat part to close the valve, and hardly deformed due to pressure produced by the movement of a fluid in opening the valve.
      SOLUTION: This valve element 1 is provided on one end side of a valve operating member M. The valve element includes: a thick base 10 having a stop hole 10a of the valve operating member M in the central area, and having both face parts 10b, 10b larger than a valve hole H and directed substantially orthogonal to the moving direction of the valve operating member M; and a thin annular lip 11 projected from one face part 10b of the base 10, having a projecting end 11a positioned outside the hole edge of the valve hole H and elastically brought into a valve seat surface Ha connected to the hole edge of the valve hole H when the valve is closed. The annular lip 11 is projected to separate from the central area of the base 10 as it goes toward the projecting end 11a.
