摘要： Job data is created by a personal computer 4. A display attribute and a program corresponding to the display attribute are attached to this job data. On the other hand, a received job is displayed on a screen of an operation panel of a digital copier 1. Whether or not the display attribute is attached to job data is determined in display processing of this operation panel. Then, if the display attribute is attached, the display screen is changed corresponding to the display attribute. This display attribute contains enlargement of a display content, change of display color and the like. If a function corresponding to the display attribute is not supported, a program attached to job data is executed. Consequently, there is provided a job information display apparatus, a job execution apparatus, a job instruction apparatus and a job processing system capable of changing the display screen depending on the display attribute of the job.

摘要： An image forming system and image forming apparatus capable of suppressing reduced productivity and avoiding the troublesome task of sorting output materials even when image formation becomes impossible. The system and apparatus include a transfer controller that permits job data transfer to another image forming apparatus if image formation of the job data has not started when an impaired image forming state is detected in an image forming apparatus, and that prohibits job data transfer to another image forming apparatus if image formation of job data has already started. In this way, the image formation process can be executed without processing congestion by having another image forming apparatus perform the job data image formation. Moreover, the task of sorting the output material is unnecessary because the job data is not dispersed between the transfer origin and the transfer destination.

A first timer measures a period of time that has elapsed since the suspension of reading of the original document by the image reader. A second timer measures a period of time that has elapsed since the suspension of output of image data stored in the image by the printer. The timers running independently of each other. Therefore even when one of the processes is continuing, if the other process is suspended due to either intentional discontinuation or an error, this other process may be cleared. As a result, an operator who wishes to input a job to the digital copying machine can learn the current status of each job residing in the digital copying machine.

摘要： Image data transmitted from an image reading portion or a personal computer is once stored in an image storage portion. Then, an image region determining portion performs region determination of the stored image data. In addition, a toner consumption calculating portion calculates an amount of toner to be consumed required for outputting the image data. Image correction is performed in an image correcting portion according to a determined image region based on a result of comparison between the amount of toner to be consumed calculated and the remaining amount of toner measured. Image output is performed in an image printing portion based on the corrected image data. As a result, image degradation can be minimized and an output operation can be completed even when a remaining amount of a recording material becomes less than an amount required for image output.
