摘要： The invention provides a lens transfer device including at least one lens and a lens barrel. The lens barrel has a lens receiving part with the lens arranged in an inner space thereof and an extension extending radially from an outer surface of the lens receiving part. An actuator has a body and an output member at a leading end of the actuator to contact the extension, and is adapted to expand/contract and bend in response to an external supply voltage to provide a driving force necessary for transfer of the lens barrel through the output member. A pressing member has a free end contacting a rear end of the actuator to force the actuator against the extension, and a guide guides the transfer of the lens barrel along an optical axis.

摘要： A auto-focusing method comprises setting a plurality of active windows composed of a central window and a plurality of peripheral windows surrounding the central window and allocating weights to the plurality of active windows so as to calculate an auto-focus value for each step; calculating a rate of change in auto-focus value between a previous step and a current step from the auto-focus value calculated for each step; comparing the calculated rate of change in auto-focus value with preset auto-focus reference values and then changing a step size in accordance with the comparison result; transferring a lens to a position corresponding to the changed step size; repeating the above processes from the setting of the plurality of active windows to the transferring of the lens until the auto-focus value of the previous step becomes larger than that of the current step and then determining whether the maximum auto-focus value is detected or not; and transferring the lens to a position corresponding to the maximum auto-focus value.

摘要： A method of coding a moving picture reduces blocking artifacts. The method includes defining pixel sets S0, S1, S2 around a block boundary, selectively determining a deblocking mode as a default mode or a DC offset mode depending on the degree of blocking artifacts. If the default mode is selected, frequency information is obtained around the block boundary per pixel using a 4-point DCT kernel, for example, a magnitude of a discontinuous component belonging to the block boundary is replaced with a minimum magnitude of discontinuous components belonging to the surroundings of the block boundary in the frequency domain and the replacing step is applied to the spatial domain. If the DC offset mode is selected and a determination is made to perform DC offset mode, the blocking artifacts in a smooth region are removed in the DC offset mode.
