    • A charging process method, relating to communication network, is disclosed according to embodiments of the present invention. The method includes receiving a charging request containing a type of a second method when the method for a user equipment to access a packet data network gateway has been changed from a first method to the second method; performing, based on the charging request, charging control over the used service units in a charging mode corresponding to the first method for the user equipment to access the packet data network gateway and reserving service units for the charging session for the second method based on a charging mode corresponding to the second method for the user equipment to access the packet data network gateway. A network system, a packet data network gateway and a charging system are provided according to embodiments of the present invention accordingly. Embodiments of the present invention can be applicable to a charging process in a situation when the method for a user equipment to access the packet data network gateway changes.

    • Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a data synchronization method, system and apparatuses thereof. The data synchronization method includes the following processes: sending, by a client, a data characteristic verification message carrying one or multiple data characteristics for data in a client database, to a server; comparing, by the server, the one or multiple data characteristics carried in the data characteristic verification message with the data characteristics for the data in a server database; determining, by the server, the data to be synchronized based on a result of the comparing and sending the client a data characteristic verification response carrying information indicating the determined data to be synchronized; and determining, by the client, the data to be synchronized according to the information in the data characteristic verification response, and synchronizing the determined data to be synchronized with the server. The method, system and apparatus thereof provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure can reduce the amount of data to be transmitted in data synchronization, and improve the efficiency of data synchronization.

    • Embodiments of the present invention relate to a charging method and system for a Push-to-talk over Cellular (PoC) system. The charging method for a PoC system includes: after sending an initial online charging request to an Online Charging System (OCS), receiving an initial online charging response message that is sent by the OCS and carries a downlink channel type switching trigger variable; monitoring a type of a downlink channel used by a PoC service according to the downlink channel type switching trigger variable; and sending an online charging request to the OCS if switching of the type of the downlink channel used by the PoC service is detected, where the online charging request includes a switched type of the downlink channel. The embodiments of the present invention implement precise and proper charging for a PoC client when the PoC client switches a channel.
