    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pollution preventing method by which contaminated soil, or the like, is enclosed with a low-priced continuous wall, and pollutants, or the like, containing hazardous materials leaking from the contaminated soil is subjected to decomposition or neutralization or is chemically/physically prevented from flowing-out to eliminate pollution by pollutants, and to provide a pollution preventing continuous wall used therefor. SOLUTION: In the periphery of the contaminated soil which pollutes environment, boring for driving pipes into clean soil at a prescribed interval or excavation of a vertical ditch is performed. A pipe is driven into a hole made by the boring. Then the contaminated soil is mixed with a neutralizer by pouring the neutralizer into the vertical ditch or by pouring the neutralizer from the top end of the pipe while pulling out the pipe.
