    • A valve system has a main body including a valve element that controls flow of fluid between a plurality of ports and an operation unit capable of being detachably attached to the main body.     • A printing technology wherein an endless belt-shaped printing plate is wound about a plate cylinder and a guide roller of a printing cylinder and, by using the printing plate, a continuous form sent between the printing plate and an impression cylinder is printed.     • A letterpress printing plate in the form of an elongate, looped flexible band having a base layer, as of polyester, and a photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer is exposed to ultraviolet light through a negative, and its unhardened portions are dissolved away, thereby leaving a printing image and one or two series of markings in relief on the base layer. Typically in the form of annular banks, the markings are arranged at constant spacings along one or, preferably, both sides of the base layer. Perforations are then formed in the base layer through the annular banks thereon. In its use on a web-fed rotary press the looped, perforated printing plate is to be wrapped around a plate cylinder and a guide cylinder spaced therefrom, with its perforations engaged with sprocket teeth on the plate cylinder, for printing the long image on a web against an impression cylinder.

In this arrangement, the smoothing ink roller train may be composed as a unit rotatable around a spindle of one of the rollers so as to outwardly release the doctor device.

The thus produced booklet has every two neighboring leaves thereof joined together at their unbound edges opposite the binding edge. Such joined leaves are to be separated by the reader by tearing the same along the row of perforations between at their unbound edges. The top and bottom edges of every two neighboring leaves extending between the binding and unbound edges may further be sealed together in a readily openable manner. In the use of this booklet as a testbook, for example, questions and answers may be printed on the outer and inner pages, respectively, of every two joined leaves.
