摘要： A carriage case, in which electronical parts are received for transportation, is provided as being capable of securely holding such parts therein and preventing them from being damaged and hampering dust from attaching on them with the removal of electrostatic charge and reducing gas detrimental to such parts to the minimum. The carriage case comprises: a case body having a base member and a cover member; and a sheet member that is made from an adhesive material of curable composition essentially consisting of component (A): a polyoxyalkylene based polymer having more than one alkenyl groups in one molecule, component (B): a compound having at least two hydrosilyl groups in one molecule and component (C): a hydrosilylation catalyst. The sheet member is applied on an inner bottom side surface of the base member and on the sheet member. The parts are attached so as to be securely positioned in the case.

摘要： In order to provide technical information necessary for the production of L-phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) by utilizing genetic engineering techniques, the structural gene for PAL and the amino acid sequence of PAL have been elucidated in Rhodosporidium toruloides, and novel recombinant DNA plasmids (e.g., pSW101, pYtrp6 and pKY201) have been created by inserting a DNA strand coding for the PAL gene between the 3′-terminus of the promoter region and the 5′-terminus of the terminator region. Moreover, transformants having such a novel recombinant DNA plasmid have been created, and a process for the production of PAL by growing such a novel transformant so as to cause PAL to be produced and accumulated in the culture has been established. Furthermore, there has been established a novel technique for the production of L-phenylalanine by reacting an ammonia donor with cinnamic acid in the presence of the PAL prepared by the aforesaid novel process.

摘要： Escherichia coli carrying a hybrid plasmid having been constructed by inserting a desired foreign gene into an expression vector so as to permitting expression of said desired foreign gene therein was cultured at a temperature 40.degree. C. or over so that the expression of said desired foreign gene was suppressed. This E. coli (i.e., transformant) was cultured at 40.degree. C. or over in a first process to suppress the expression of the foreign gene and to support sufficient cell growth and thereafter below 40.degree. C. in a second process to release the suppression of the expression so as to permit effective production of the foreign gene product, which resulted in high concentration of the foreign gene product in the final culture.

摘要： An impact printer has a type drum, a plurality of hammers, a type drum gear secured to a shaft of the type drum, and a gear train including a drive gear and an intermediate gear engaged with the drive gear and type drum gear for driving the type drum. A lever is provided to rotate about a shaft of the drive gear. The intermediate gear is rotatably supported on the lever at one end thereof, and a spring is provided for urging the lever in the direction that the intermediate gear engages with the type drum gear. The rotational direction of the type drum gear is such that the rotation of the type drum gear causes the intermediate gear to revolve around the drive gear to brake the type drum.
